To bridge the perimeter drainage the door threshold will cantilever from the studio floor. A UC section was used to give both a fixing for the steel floor threshold and a base plate fixing for the side wall under the door opening.

This site records the building and occupation of their studio.
Ground was first broken in September 2005 for footings and to install water, electrical, gas and communications services.
The studio was ready for occupation in April 2008.
Since then the garden has been completed and the main house has been refurbished with a new rear addition and internal remodelling. This was completed in Spring 2010.
It is still an ongoing project.....
